Performing in front of an audience may be frightening, but not for Valerie! Being creative through song and dance is her favorite way of expressing herself, and she is great at it! Valerie’s love for the performing arts began when she was young. Her fondest memory is going to dance camp in her teens, learning tap, square and even clog dancing! She enjoys incorporating these moves into various performances for the Ranchers and will sing along every chance she gets. It’s very fitting that her favorite karaoke song is “Dancing Queen” by ABBA. Valerie’s dream is to be on the TV show The Voice and with hard work and dedication she is confident she will get there. When asked what advice she would give to someone who is nervous about performing, she responded “I look at the audience, be happy and be myself!” 😊
