For the past eleven years, Brian has proudly been a member of Lee County’s Texas Tornadoes Mounted Drill Team Mounted Drill Team. His love for the sport started when he was ten years old, taking horse riding lessons from the team’s coaches. After learning more about the drill team, Brian became determined to join. It was because of Brian’s perseverance and determination, the Texas Tornadoes were able to recruit a new group of equestrians, forming the “Inspirational Riders.” When he performs, Brian and his teammates showcase choreographed maneuvers to music at various rodeos, horse fairs, parades and competitions all over Texas! Through this experience, Brian has been taught valuable lessons in sportsmanship, horsemanship, teamwork and dedication. When asked how being a Texas Tornado makes him feel, Brian responded with a huge grin saying “Great!” 😁
